Ayon nga sa post sa official Facebook page ng IdeaFirst, "Celebrate a decade of bringing extraordinary stories to light.
ENLIGHTEN: The IdeaFirst Film Festival
April 12-14, 2024 at GATEWAY CINEPLEX 18"

Sa hiwalay na FB post ni Direk Perci, inalala niya ang naging paglalakbay ng IdeaFirst sa loob ng isang dekada.

Pahayag ni Direk Perci, "Our film journey actually began over a decade ago when Bwakaw was selected for Cinemalaya and Jun approached Mr. Tony Tuviera of APT Entertainment for help in producing it.  As Octobertrain Films, we screened Bwakaw around the world. And the following year, APT again helped us and we produced Barber’s Tales.  In 2014, when I retired from TV5, we formed The IdeaFirst Company and it was MVP, Bong Sta. Maria and Studio 5 that helped us with our first title, Dementia.  Mother Lily and Roselle Monteverde then got us to line produce movies for Regal Films and we were able to do the same for Boss Vic and Vincent del Rosario of Viva Films starting the following year.  By this point Miko Livelo, Prime Cruz, Ivan Payawal and Dominic Lim from our creative team became Directors and we were able to produce more films with them and Cinemalaya and QCinema with Indioboy and Eight Films. Later we produced two films by Sigrid Bernardo for Viva.  With Atty Joji Alonso of Quantum Films we co-produced films with Malou Santos, Direk Olive Lamasan and Kriz Gazmen of Star Cinema and Black Sheep.  Jane Basas with Sienna Olaso, Guido Zaballero and Vitto Lazatin trusted IdeaFirst with their first film under Cignal Entertainment, and later Jun’s other passion projects were co-produced with Cignal and Quantum.  The pandemic struck and everything we knew about storytelling and production were put to the test when, under the strictest of safety protocols, we found a virtual way to produce Gameboys — and that broadened our horizon with a partnership with 108 Japan. With Viva, we set up the Powerhouse Media Capital brand for four movie titles.  And with Quantum and Mayor Rico Roque of Cineko Productions, we were able to produce more projects — notably Ten Little Mistresses, the first Filipino Original movie of Amazon Studios.

"With these 35 films, we are forever grateful to all our producing partners who trusted us to bring to light extraordinary stories that would otherwise be kept in the dark. Along with these we were also able to produce 14 original series and TV shows, music videos and corporate projects.

"Thank you to all the dedicated teams and artists who collaborated with us on all of these.  I hope you are as proud as we are of the projects we were able to do together.  And thank you to alll who watched and supported us in whatever screen our films have played.  To all of you we dedicate this montage, beautifully edited by Kristian Palma with John Rogers.  Featured here are music from some of our films like the Barber’s Tales theme of our National Artist for Music Ryan Cayabyab and the amazing film scores of Emerzon Texon and Teresa Barrozo.

"On April 12-14 we will celebrate our anniversary at Gateway Cinemas by showing some of these films along with a Jun Robles Lana Masterclass and Roundtable Discussions with acclaimed Writers and Directors — all of these we will announce soon.

"Again, thank you very much to all of you!  These movies are indeed works of a large artistic community that have a shared passion for storytelling. May this passion live on! And I hope we continue to work together in bringing these stories to light!"

Magiging Opening Film sa IdeaFirst Film Festival ang pelikula ni Direk Jun Robles Lana na "Your Mother's Son," na pinagbibidahan nina Sue Prado, Miggy Jimenez, Elora Españo, at Kokoy de Santos.

"After the World Premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, the European Premiere at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival and the Asian Premiere at the Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival, Jun Robles Lana’s YOUR MOTHER’S SON will have its Philippine Premiere on April 12 as the Opening Film of ENLIGHTEN: The IdeaFirst Film Festival," saad sa FB post ng IdeaFirst.

PANALO!
BARANGAY SINGKO PANALO!

"After 20 years since I first joined TV5, I now get to be part of a brand new show concept for the Kapatid Network! And…on the 10th year of The IdeaFirst Company, we are launching a new brand of entertainment too: IMAGINE IF Entertainment!

"Go Team BARANGAY SINGKO PANALO
with Kags Jerald and SK Kayla!
A production of Imagine IF for TV5!
Abangan!!!"

Bukod sa dalawang bonggang proyekto, sigurado kaming may iba pang mga handog na aabangan sa IdeaFirst ngayong taon bilang pagdiriwang sa kanilang 10th anniversary.
