Ai Ai delas Alas joins Manong Chavit Singson in launching VBank

SENATORIAL candidate Luis “Manong Chavit” Singson spearheaded the launch of VBank app, a digital banking platform designed to improve financial inclusion in the Philippines . The event was held last Sunday, December 15, at the Bridgetowne Destination Estate in Quezon City during the Blackout Festival, with celebrity guest and Comedy Queen Ai Ai delas Alas joining Manong Chavit for the launch.

VBank aims to provide Filipinos with accessible financial services by enabling users to open bank accounts through the app, eliminating the need for traditional paperwork. The app offers features such as money transfers to banks and digital wallets, bill payments, and mobile load purchases. It also connects users to over 6,000 cash-in outlets nationwide, including Tambunting Pawnshops, Puregold, and Alfamart, ensuring convenient transactions even in remote areas.

According to Manong Chavit, "Itong VBank ay ginawa natin para sa masa. Because 77 percent ng ating mga kababayan ay walang bank account dahil nade-deny lang sila.

"Puro digital na tayo ngayon. Paano sila makakasabay? Online na tayo ngayon. So, lalong kawawa yung ating mga kababayan. Kaya ko naisipang maglagay ng VBank para sa masa, para matulungan sila.

"Lahat ng telepono meron nito, mag-download lang kayo. Magkakaroon na kayo ng bank account without going to the bank. So, ito po tulong natin sa mga kapuspalad nating mga kababayan."

Meanwhile, Ai Ai entices everybody to support VBank as well as Manong Chavit's candidacy as senator. 

"Suportahan po natin si Manong Chavit at ang VBank. Alam natin na tutulungan tayo ni Senador lalong-lalo na yung mga kababayan nating mahihirap," says Ai Ai, whom Manong Chavit admitted as his favorite inaanak.

Manong Chavit, listed as No. 58 on the Senate ballot, also announced during the VBank launch the 58 Days Pa-Raffle ni Manong Chavit campaign, which offers daily prizes to app users. Starting from launch day, 58 winners will receive P5,800 daily, one winner will win P58,000 every day, and one lucky app user will win the grand prize of P580,000 on the 58th day, 11 February.
