Dingdong Dantes pinangunahan ang AKTOR PH sa pagsusulong ng nominasyon ni Vilma Santos para sa National Artist Award

PINANGUNAHAN ng award-winning actor na si Dingdong Dantes ang grupo ng mga artistang Pinoy, ang AKTOR PH, sa pagsusulong ng nominasyon ni Star For All Seasons Vilma Santos para sa prestihiyosong National Artist Award.

Sa mediacon na ginanap nitong Biyernes, June 28, sa Sampaguita Hall ng Manila Hotel, ipinaliwanag ni Dingdong kung paano sila nagkaisa ng mga kapwa niya artista para bigyang-pugay ang mahigit sa anim na dekadang kontribusyon ni Ate Vi sa Philippine cinema sa pamamagitan ng nominasyon para sa National Artist Award.

"Ang AKTOR ay isa lamang sa maraming organisasyon na nagtutulak para sa nominasyon ni Vilma Santos. Siguro nagkataon at naging maganda yung timing dahil nagkaroon kami ng second general assembly kamakailan. Siyempre we were discussing yung mga programs at kung ano yung mga gagawin namin in the future. And nakuha namin yung balita na mayroong namumuong movement. We were just so fortunate to be a part of that movement. 

"So, we discussed, ako, yung bagong board na na-elect nung time na yun. Yung bagong officers, sina Piolo (Pascual), Iza (Calzado), Mylene (Dizon), lahat po kami. So, we decided to endorse Vilma Santos para po sa larangang ito," pahayag ni Dingdong.
