Piolo Pascual na-challenge sa pagganap ng tatlong roles sa "Mallari"

Inamin ni Piolo Pascual na na-challenge siya sa pagganap ng tatlong roles sa pinagbibidahan niyang horror movie na "Mallari," na isa sa sampung entries sa Metro Manila Film Festival 2023.
Naintriga siya sa istorya at roles niya sa movie at dahil gusto niya ng kakaiba at hindi pa niya nagagawa sa kanyang nakaraang projects kaya tinanggap niya ang "Mallari."
"The biggest consideration was doing something different because I'm used to doing drama, romcom in TV and in film. It was I guess intriguing for me yung Mallari, the name itself. And when I googled and found out he actually existed, it's when I realized it's gonna be based on true story.
"It was hard because three roles e. As an actor, I guess that's the challenge, not knowing what to expect. By just saying yes, I guess, for me I was up for the challenge, and I just want to do something different. And when this came about, it just all fell into place.
"The production value alone was a big consideration. I was very ambitious but they lift up to the expectations and everything. So, I was really happy about that," paliwanag ni Piolo sa mediacon ng "Mallari."

Bukod sa kasiyahan na maayos na natapos ang buong pelikula, ikinatutuwa rin ni Piolo ang pagpasok ng Warner Bros. Pictures bilang distributor ng "Mallari" na magbibigay ng pagkakataon sa pelikula na mapanood sa buong mundo. Ang "Mallari" ang kauna-unahang Filipino movie na distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.
Kasama ni Piolo sa cast ng "Mallari" sina Janella Salvador, Elisse Joson, JC Santos, Tommy Alejandrino, Ron Angeles, at Ms. Gloria Diaz with the special participation of Mylene Dizon.
Directed by Derick Cabrido and produced by Mentorque Productions in cooperation with Cleverminds Incorporated, ang "Mallari" ay mapapanood sa mga sinehan nationwide simula sa Pasko, Disyembre 25, bilang bahagi ng Metro Manila Film Festival 2023.
